Our Christmas tradition continues! Celebrate the season with our annual Christmas outing in Galway, so join us on the festive streets of Galway for an evening of twinkling lights, seasonal spirit, and plenty of fun. There’ll be laughter, banter, and—if we’re lucky—some actual photography too! Don’t forget your camera, tripod, spare batteries, and wrap up warmly.

Galway Camera Club is delighted to have Tesni Ward, a UK based wildlife photographer, giving our presentation of 2026 via zoom. Tesni is well know for her wonderful wildlife photography and more and this is a great opportunity to see Tesni's work from the comfort of your own armchair! Tonight we are going across the Atlantic for our zoom with Shaun Antle. We are delighted to welcome Shaun to our zoom and this will be the club's first transatlantic zoom, so definitely one not to miss. Shaun's photography has received acclaim from prestigious organizations such as Canon Canada, Sigma Canada, Canon USA, Raw Canada, CBC Newfoundland, and Canadian Geographic. Thu 5 Feb 2026 - Member's Night "Unedited"
Tonight is Member's Night "Unedited". We will be showing the unedited pictures taken from our outing. Last year was such a success, that we are going for it again this year. Make sure to come to both the outing to get your pictures and then the club night.

Kay is a member of the camera club with a huge knowledge of biodiversity and and through her photography skills, Kay will give a presentation showing both tonight. This is a presentation for all interests tonight and it would be great to support one of our onw with a big attendance.
