Programme

Before we head out (next week the 12th with weather permitting), on our now traditional Galway Christmas Market night, members are being given an opportunity to show pictures on their own chosen theme. 

Tutorial tonight will be a quick mixture of Macro, stitching, and bracketing, 7.10pm-7.50pm.

Entries are due in for the digital "Food for THought" competition.

Galway Camera Club is on its Christmas Break, but will be back on the 9th January 2025, starting off the new year with judging of our digital "Food for Thought" competition.

On behalf of the committee, may I take this opportunity to wish all our club members, their families, all the wonderful guest speakers we have had and will have in the coming months, a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful, happy and healthy new year.

Peter Gordon is a very welcome presenter to Galway Camera Club and as weather can be unpredictable we are doing ZOOM.

Entries for digital "People" theme are due now.

We are delighted to welcome back local photographer Steve Scott to judge the digital them "People". Entries due for the print "This is Galway" competition.

We are delighted to have our wonderful lifetime member, Ann Sweeney, judging this print competition.  Entries for the Digital "Woodlands" are due.

Galway Camera Club are delighted to have the judges of this competition all the way from Limerick - Whelans Camera Shop. They will also do an equipment presentation, which is always great to be kept up to date with what is out there.  

Inhouse Tutorial tonight - these are always a bit of fun.

There is no club meeting on Thursday 27th as we are having our CLUB EXHIBITION IN THE ROWING CLUB ON SUNDAY 30TH MARCH - please go to "News" header closer to the date for times etc.

Delighted to have Darach Glennon with us tonight giving a presentation on his pictures and what could be a lively debate on AI.

Truly delighted to be finishing up our 2024-2025 Season with the wonderful John Kelly.
