A big thanks to Ann Sweeney for her judging of the print competition "This is Galway". As always, it is great to get constructive, helpful and kind critque on our entries and this is what we got from Ann. Congratulations to the winners, 1st. Patricia Donohue who received the Sweeney Cup for her entry of a stormy Blackrock, 2nd Roger Derham and 3rd Martin Farrell. All entries can be seen in the results gallery on the website.
Below are pictures of the winners of the Sweeney Cup competition and of our gathering in Monroes on Sunday morning to which there was a great turnout for our outing with a twist! We got to download the pictures in the comfort of Monroes over a coffee. It was great to see members out and about, resulting in lots of pictures to show and discuss, so make sure not to miss this coming Thursday 8pm.
