What a wonderful way to open our 2024-2025 season, being treated to a gold, silver and bronze display of medal winning photos from James Crombie's visit to the Paris Olympics! Apart from the fabulous photos, it was really great to hear about all the background work that goes into getting these pictures. Knowledge, skill, good equipment (James uses Canon) lots and lots of patience, a sprinkling of good luck and not too much luxury, all formed part of the Paris Olympics for James.
James brought along some of his Canon equipment for members to have a look at - see below. Also thanks to Canon for sponsoring his trip to Galway camera Club.
