Due to the adverse weather conditions the club had to cancel Thursday the 9th's meeting. The committee had a little juggling to do with the programme and wish to thank Tom & Patricia for stepping in and doing tutorials on Lightroom and Affinity last Thursday. We are also very appreciative of both Ann Sweeney and Martin Davitt for their cooperation in some of these changes. Ann Sweeney will be judging our new "Panel" competition this coming Thursday the 23rd and a beautiful brand new trophy the "Sweeney Perpetual" is up for grabs. Martin Davitt from Davitt Photo Centre, Salthill will judge our digital "Red" & "Blue" themes competition on Thursday the 30th March. Due to changes in the programme, entries for the Connemara Print will not now be due in until the 30th March.

The committee would like to ask anyone that would be interested in coming onto the committee to let us know as the AGM on the 4th May is approaching fast. It is always good and important to get new people, fresh ideas etc on the committee, so please dont be shy.
Lastly, but very importantly the Galway Camera Club made a presentation to two special members and wish to acknowledge their long membership in the club and also their service on the committee. Ann Sweeney and Michael Corbett are two members who have contributed immensely to Galway Camera Club with their knowledge and skill both on and off the committee. Thank you Ann & Michael.
