We definitely had winners alright last Thursday and thanks to Nicholas Grundy for his very positive, practical and worthwhile comments on all the entries - it made for a very beneficial and rewarding night. Macro/Closeup certainly made for a variety of ideas in the entries. Thanks Nicholas and it was lovely to have you join us for our monthly get together in the Huntsman. This coming Thursday we have a great indoor tutorial and it is imperative that everyone bring along their camera, fully charged batteries, SD card and if you have a tripod please bring it along. If everyone can be there by 7.30pm so that we can have a timely start that would be apprecated.
Don't forget to get your entries ready for the Brian Callaghy "Open" theme competition with entries due on the 16th February (def last date!). This is a print entry so please don't leave until the last minute as you may not get them printed etc. in time. As stated last Thursday we also want people to put their digital entry up on the website so that we have a record of same and can show the entries on the screen on the night.
