Last Thursday the club had it's first judging of the new Panel competition for the Sweeney Perpetual Trophy. Ann Sweeney judged and as she said it was no easy job. Thanks to all the entrants and congratulations to Ger Kavanagh who came 1st, Patricia Donohue 2nd and Jim Keller 3rd in Advanced section and in the Novice Kay Synott 1st, Anthony Mollohan 2nd and Seamus Toal 3rd. Already looking forward to next years.
We are delighted to welcome Martin Davitt this Thursday the 30th for judging of the Club's 2nd last digital competition for this 2022-2023 season - the theme is "Red" "Blue" digital theme (obviously no black and white in this one). Glaway Camera Club would like to extend our congratulations to Martin & his wife Debbie on 20 years in business in the Davitt Photo Centre in Salthill, which opened it doors in April 2003, providing a professional developing and printing service for professional photographers, keen amateur and the general public. Since opening it’s doors Davitt Photo Centre has become one of the West’s leading Professional Photographic Labs.
