Thanks to Eamon O’Daly from Outdoor Studio for a very easy to listen to and understand talk on DSLR v Mirrorless cameras which he gave to the club on the 2nd December.
Just to remind all that the club wont be back until 6th January 2022 and unfortunately due to restrictions we will not be back in GMIT, but we are continuing on zoom, so keep an eye on the website for further details. In this context, Galway Camera Club is delighted to announce that we will be introducing our new website in January 2022 and we will be giving an instruction tutorial to all members on the 6th January 2022. Closer to the January date of the 6th, we will be sending out an email containing an “invite” for the new website so keep an eye out for that. It is very important that all members try and attend on the 6th January as everyone needs to know about how to use the website for entering competitions, uploading to the member’s gallery etc., so do please mark the date of the 6th January 2022 in the diary.
In the meantime don’t forget that “Galway Through a Lens” is the theme of our next competition with entries due in on the 20th January 2022 so lots to keep busy with there. Judging of our “Street Photography” competition will take place on the 13th January 2022.
