Thank you to David Keep for the last of the 2021-2022 Season's presentations of guest speakers and it certainly was an inspiring one to finish on.

Well, I must say that looking back over the 2021-2022 Season, despite having to remain on zoom, we have certainly had a diverse range of guest speakers and topics. We started with Tensi Ward and her wonderful presentation of wildlife photography and her sometimes close encounters with same. Arctic to the Antarctic with Annie Given, we travelled to India with Arthur Carron, travelled with Stewart Kenny and joined Gerry Kerr for the "story of a village". We went up to the wonder of the skies with Anthony Demion and jaw dropping deep sea photography with David Keep, we also managed to get Fine Art Photography with David Garthwaite and with Denis O'Reilly we did flower photography. We also had Deirdre Deegan on composition and general photography, Richard Kelly on basics of same and also Kevin Lim on the principles of photography. We also had some really great tutorials form The Outdoor Studio. In between all above we managed to get 6 competitions and adjudications in, results of which can be seen on this website or the facebook page.

Judging of the last 2 competitions is this Thursday night - Connemara and Sunrise/Sunset.  Judging will be by Richie Hatch from Louth Camera Club.  Please also remember "Image of The Year" will be announced at the AGM on the 5th May and entries for same need to be entered as only the member can enter their picture on the website.  Voting will be by members and how the voting system works will be explained this Thursday with the winning image being announced at the AGM, along with other announcements, so attendance this Thursday and at the AGM is important. If anyone is interested in joining the committee, please let us know.

We are hoping to have outings during the Summer, so it will be important to keep an eye on your wattsapp as information for these outings will be sent by wattsapp.
