Hope everyone enjoyed our gloriuos spell of fine weather and took the opportunity to do some photography. Just to update, the committee have been busy organising the upcoming 2023-2024 season with our opening night on Thursday the 21st September. So for starters, make sure to put that date in your diaries! To give people a bit of an incentive to keep those cameras clicking, here are some of the competition themes that we will be having: "Out on the Street" - "Autumn" - "Seascapes" - "Happiness is .....".
Also we have put up on the website, some event dates that are happening in and around galway that members might find interesting and good possible photographic opportunities. Just click on "Home" in the header above, then scroll down to news feed and under "Possible photographic dates that might be interesting" you will find these different events. We are hoping to head to Birr Air show on Saturday 5th August (entry fee is €25), but more on that closer to the date.
