Thanks soo much to everyone who contributed to a full night of members showing the absolute variety of topics, talent and knowledge that was on display last Thursday night - well done to all.
We also presented our beautiful handmade (by member Jim Keller) tropies to members from the beginners category, who won through Covid, the "Most Improved Beginner" Anthony Mollahan and "Beginner of the Year" Brendan Molloy - Congratulations to Brenda and Anthony.
This coming Thursday the 17th, we are delighted to have Inaki Hernandez as our guest speaker - Inaki was born in Bilbao, but has been living in Ireland sicne 1990. Inaki specialises in archecticural photography, but over many years, Inaki has presented his work at numerous events and has acted as a judge nationally and internationally: from the most renowed photographic societies in Ireland and the United Kingdom, to FIAP level and international architectural competitions.
A highly respected speaker and judge, Inaki has photographed some of the most renowned buildings in the world. These include the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A., the City of Arts & Sciences in Valencia to name but a few. Inaki has served as a member of the Distinctions Committee of the Royal Photographic Society and currently sits as an assessor on the Visual Art Panel.
